Other AbstractAt present,several formulas of impact load about debris flow in common use are based on the hypothesis
that debris flow iS continuous flow.Because the viscous debris flow behaves mainly discontinuous and the variab ility
ab out velocity and density of debris flow is uncertain, there is a quite big discrepany by using present formulas to
calculate impact load of the viscous debris flow.In this paper,a concept of debris flow micro-cell Was introduced
and a new form ula of impact load ab out viscous debris flow was deducted based on momentum conservation.Besides
the authors deal with the measured impact load inform ation by Hilbert transform to obtain necessary parametem for
the calculation of the proposed form ula.
