本文对原产地台湾与引种地南非和福建等的台湾桤木与四川桤木的生物生态学特性和生长状况进行比较分析。结果表明:台湾桤木具有生长快、根瘤固氮能力强等特性,适合我国南方引种栽植、发展商品林。通过在四川引种试验,提出了台湾桤木的育苗方法与栽培技术。

The bio-ecological charactenstics and g row th status of nat ive Alnus formosana in Taiwan and int roduced Alnus formosana in South Africa and in Fujian and Sichuan provinces were compared in this paper. the results showed that Alnus formosana featured a fast-growing and strong N-fixing abili ty. It was suitable to be int roduced in southern areas of China and used for the development of commercial forest. The methods of seedling production and cultivation techniques were also put forward.
