Other AbstractLandslides are influenced by many factors that may be subgrouped into external factors and internal factors, and structure of slope is one of the most important internal conditions. In this paper, the method of providing slope structure map on regional scale landslide research is presented by GIS spatial analysis tools and stratum attitude and aspect map. By studying how slope structure contribute to landslide occurrence, the method of probability to assign continuous value to slope structure map is presented. The new analysis method is offered for formation research of regional landslide. By using this method, the shortage of traditional methods is overcomed, and the analysis result will be more reliable.
