Other AbstractLand condition in micro-topopgraphic scale, whose size is adbout 10-30m, is important for planners and managers rather than in big scale. This paper presents the land micron-topographic characteristics of river Dagou, Maoxian county, Sichuan province based upon GIS. The DEM and its subfiles with high sample density were formed by a ralid way using a scanner. The thousands of statistic data discover that the land types in the basin are sattered either in their area size or in spatial distrbution and etc. In addition, some suggestions on land use of the basin are followed from the above discussion.
