AbstractAn ivestingation of the developing hisstory of debris flows in the Daqiao River, and the observations and expreiments in their present activities demonstrate that most of adcient debris flows that took place here were viscous; and micro-viscous debris flows predominate in modern times. The goeclogical, geomorphological conditions of Daqiao River basin are favourable for the genertion of debris flows. Moreover, strong earthquakes and human economic activities have accelarated the development of the debris flows here. Collapes, landslide and rockfall bring with them loose materials numbering 150 million m3 of which can directly participate in the debris flow activities. The short-duration heavy rainfall gives the impetus to occurrence of debris flows. During the last 100-200 years, debris flows in the Da Qiao River have been very active nowadays, however, the debris flow activity is tending to decay year by year.
Other Abstract大桥河是小江右岸一条大型泥石流沟。发源于乌蒙山西麓,由清水沟和浑水沟汇合而成。主沟长18公里,沟床比降为4-12%,流域面积53万平方公里。流域内的地质地貌、水文气象和强烈的地震及人类活动的影响,是该沟泥石流形成的主要条件。根据调查,大桥河泥石流的活动和规模均处在减弱阶段。
