Abstract | Earthquake has close relation to debris flow acitivies. The study of this relationship has yielded the following views. 1.The strong sesmic country is usually the region where debris flows occur or frequently occur. Thus, we should monitor not only the activities of earthquake, but also the ones of debris flows in the strong sesmic country. 2. bEarthquake directly affects the formative conditions of debris flows, and further their occurrence and development. 3.Earthquake exerts an influence on debris flows mainly through the combination of certain elements of earthquake and physiography. This provides a theoretic basis for the prediction of debris flows in seismic regions. Accordingly, the qualitative indices for forecasting debris flows in seismic regions are suggested in this article. 4.The preventive measures, proposed on the basis of the results of forecasting debris flows in seismic regions, have important significance to lighten the harm of earthquake-indeced dedris flow to facilities of national economy, to people`s life and properties. For this purpose, a series of principles and measures to prevent debris flows in seismic regions is put forward by the author. |
Other Abstract | 地震会破坏坡地的稳定性,进而影响泥石流的形成和发展。本文根据1973-1976年的几次强烈地震后的泥石流调查资料,对地震在泥石流活动中的作用以及地震区泥石流预测预防等作了探讨。 |
