AbstractThe debris flow in Hunshui Gully belongs to the heavy-rainfall-induced one. Standing from real survey datum in three years, the beginning rain intensity causing debris flow in Hunshui Gully is abtained: i(~10)=(123/P(~a)+0.4, mm. Its max. design discharge: Q=1545((0.93i^0.12~1)-1), m^3/s. The hydrograph forms of debris flow have a close bearing on rainfall processes.
