Other Abstract

The mine debris flow is kind of man-made debris.
1.Debris flows caused by the mine construction harm the mine construction itself and other national economic construction directly or indirectly.
2.The mine construction speeds up the accumulation of loose solid material, the increase in water supply, the local varation of landform, and the dynamic increase and helps combine loose solid material with water so as to foster the formation and development of debris flows.
3.The major factors affecting the mine debris flows are as follows: 1) General plan of mine construction; 2)Scale of construction and ways and stages of mining; 3) Types of refuse dumps; 4) Height of refuse dumps; 5)Design and construction of structure; and 6) Management of refuse dumps and tailings. All these have close relation to the formation and development of debris flows can be prevented from occurring; otherwise, they would foster the formation and development of debris flows.
