Other AbstractErtan hydropower station and Tongzilin hydropower station are the two large key water control projects being planned to construct. There are a lot of debris flow gullies in the lower of Yalong River and Anning River basin where to reservoirs, it is necessary to study their distribution law, classification, and activity conditions. Therefore, we tried to process the Landsat multispectral scanning tapes in this area, on STC/I2S101 system of digital image processing with image enchancement, image transforms, image classification, etc. Realying on it, the distribution map of debris flow in partial area was made out. By comparison with the distribution map made out by airphoto and on the spot investigation, this approach is better.
