Abstract超声技术已在国民经济各个领域得到广泛应用,而1985年研究的超声波泥位计,应用于泥石流深度观测取得了良好效果。众所周知,测量泥石流流动中流体的深度,即泥深,对研究泥石流的运动、沉积规律,以及力学性质都具有极为重要的意义。 
Other Abstract In studying debris flow, it is necessary to measure the depth of debris flow while it was flowing trough a channel.The fluid of debris flow is a mixture of liquid and solid and moves at a high speed. Therefore it is difficult to measure of depth of debris flow.This paper described how to use supersonic waves technique for measuring the depth of debris flow and suggested that wider application of supersonic waves should be developed in studying debris flow.
